Prolistem® Success Story
Age: 30 | Diagnosis: Sertoli Cell Only Syndrome
A 30-year-old patient had a long history of infertility, including failed PESA and microTESE attempts. Histology confirmed Sertoli Cell Only.
After completing the Prolistem® protocol, he underwent another microTESE. Despite the severe condition, and after an extended search with centrifugation, two doses of viable sperm were successfully retrieved and frozen for IVF.
Hormonal profile before the successful microTESE:
• FSH: 35.9 (elevated)
• LH: 28.4 (elevated)
• Testosterone: 2.82 (low-normal)
• Prolactin & TSH: Normal
Never give up.
Real hope. Real stories.

Prolistem Success Story – Singapore
“Hi, just wondering if Prolistem is suitable for my husband? He has azoospermia. His FSH was 29.8 IU/L, LH 10.6 IU/L, and testosterone 13.8 nmol/L. We were told it’s a case of primary testicular failure and the chances of finding sperm were very low.”
They decided to try Prolistem and after 6 months, sperm were found in the semen for the first time!
Here are the results:
• Sperm concentration: 4.7 million/mL (previously zero)
• Motility: <1% (low, but present)
• Progressive motility: <1%
• Motile sperm concentration: million/mL
• Progressively motile sperm concentration: <2 million/mL
These values are still below normal, but they mark a breakthrough from a completely azoospermic condition.
Prolistem brought hope when there seemed to be none left

Prolistem Success Story: A Ray of Hope in Non-Obstructive Azoospermia
Meet a patient diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) due to primary testicular failure—a condition where the testes fail to produce sperm despite normal hormonal stimulation. Like many men with this diagnosis, his semen analyses repeatedly showed zero sperm count, and doctors had little hope for natural recovery.
After learning about Prolistem, he decided to try the treatment for several months under medical guidance.
The results were encouraging: a few sperm were detected in the semen—a rare and hopeful outcome in cases of NOA. Although the count was low, this discovery was a major breakthrough, opening the door for ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) without the need for surgical sperm retrieval.
This case reinforces Prolistem’s role as a potential option in select NOA patients. By activating alternate pathways of sperm production, Prolistem may offer a second chance to men who were told fatherhood wasn’t possible.

Prolistem Success Story — From One Sperm in Surgery to Finding Sperm Naturally
We’re proud to share a powerful success story from Jordan—thanks to the guidance and support of Dr. Tahseen Al-Kilani.
Patient: Non-obstructive azoospermia (Primary Testicular Failure), Age 28
This patient had previously undergone a microTESE procedure, where only one sperm was found surgically. Hopes were low—but they didn’t give up.
Before Prolistem:
• FSH: 7.00 mIU/mL
• LH: 9.94 mIU/mL (elevated)
• Testosterone: 6.15 ng/mL
• Diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia
After 6 Months of Prolistem Treatment:
• Sperm found in semen
• Concentration: 0.6 million/mL
• Total sperm number: 1.8 million
• Motility: 50%
• A remarkable improvement without any surgery
This case proves that for some patients, Prolistem can unlock natural sperm production—even after previous surgical failure.
Big thanks to Dr. Tahseen Al-Kilani for his dedication and support in making this success possible.

Prolistem® Success Story — From Zero to Millions
A patient diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia and a high FSH level of 34 mIU/mL started Prolistem® treatment. Despite his FSH being high, his LH and testosterone were within the normal range.
After six months of treatment, the results were remarkable: 2.1 million sperm were found in his semen.
His FSH slightly decreased to 33 mIU/mL, while LH and testosterone remained stable within the normal range.
This case shows how Prolistem® can help activate sperm production even in men with challenging hormonal profiles.

A Rare and Remarkable Success with Prolistem
This case is truly extraordinary. The patient was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition: 46,XX with SRY translocation. His hormonal profile showed very high FSH (52.9 mIU/mL), high LH (27.3 mIU/mL), and low testosterone (11.1 nmol/L). Testicular histology revealed Sertoli Cell Only Syndrome.
He had undergone microTESE procedures in 2014 and 2015, both without finding any sperm. In 2023, he underwent another biopsy — again, no sperm were found.
After using Prolistem for six months, the outcome was beyond expectations: many spermatocytes, a few round spermatids, and remarkably, one mature sperm was found in the semen.
This result was completely unexpected, given his severe baseline condition, and represents a rare and inspiring success story.
A big thank you to Dr. Sharf Rabeaa from Al Khaldeh Hospital, Jordan, for his outstanding care and support in achieving this success.

Azoospermia Success Story with Prolistem®
A 41-year-old patient with primary testicular failure had undergone 5 failed sperm extraction surgeries in the past.
After completing Prolistem® treatment, a few sperm were successfully found through microTESE.
His hormone levels before treatment were:
• FSH: 30.7 mIU/ml
• LH: 24.5 mIU/ml
• Testosterone: 1.17 ng/ml
This result offers hope even in the most difficult cases.

Prolistem Success Story: A Ray of Hope Even with Genetic Challenges
Even when genetic issues are involved, Prolistem® can offer powerful—but often temporary—results.
This is the story of two brothers, both struggling with azoospermia. Despite their shared diagnosis, they refused to give up hope.
Four months ago, one of the brothers began Prolistem® treatment, committed to following every step. Today, on April 24, 2025, their perseverance was rewarded—his semen analysis revealed 100,000 sperm present in the sample.
This milestone shows that even in the face of genetic obstacles, Prolistem® can awaken dormant potential. While results may not always last, this breakthrough opens a window of opportunity—and sometimes, that’s all you need.

Prolistem Success Story – From the Netherlands
A beautiful message we just received from a patient we first spoke with back in 2021:
“Hello Doctor, we had contact in 2021. My husband started using Prolistem at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022. Afterwards, we did IVF — and we got pregnant! Our son Immanuel was born in 2023 and is about to turn 2 years old.
I forgot to reach out earlier, but I want to say thank you so much for Prolistem and all your help. I truly believe Prolistem played a big part in helping us reach our dream.”
Hormone levels before treatment:
• FSH: 3 IU/L
• LH: 3.8 IU/L
• Testosterone: 13.3 nmol/L
Another reminder that hope, patience, and the right support can lead to the most beautiful results.

2 APRIL 2025

A patient diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) came to us with:

Normal LH: 3.4 IU/L

Normal Testosterone: 13.4 nmol/L

High FSH: 17.7 IU/L — often a sign of testicular failure.

After just 4 months of Prolistem, his semen analysis showed a breakthrough:

1 million sperm detected in the ejaculate!

A huge step forward on his fertility journey — and a reminder that with the right approach, there is hope even in difficult cases.

This patient was diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia, with FSH at 19.8 IU/L and LH at 7.71 IU/L. Married since 2017, he underwent two TESE procedures and one microTESE, all of which failed. He was diagnosed with Sertoli cell-only syndrome and was advised to use Prolistem for one year.

During Prolistem treatment, a semen analysis was performed, and for the first time, live sperm were found. We are excited to share the video provided by Embryologist Ibrahim Al-Taouni from Jordan.

The IVF team plays a crucial role in searching for sperm in semen samples. Any man suffering from azoospermia should request centrifugation of the sample—standard semen analysis is not always enough!

A patient diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), who had never undergone sperm retrieval, started treatment with Prolistem. Before treatment, the patient’s FSH levels were high, and a semen analysis confirmed zero sperm count.

After six months of using Prolistem, the patient’s hormone levels improved:

  • FSH: 12.2 IU/L
  • LH: 7.28 IU/L
  • Testosterone: 24.15 nmol/L

Most importantly, a post-treatment semen analysis revealed the presence of 230,000 sperm, which were successfully cryopreserved for future IVF.

This case highlights the potential of Prolistem in restoring spermatogenesis in NOA patients, offering new hope for natural conception through assisted reproductive techniques.

Success Story: Prolistem Treatment for Azoospermia

A 38-year-old patient had been struggling with azoospermia for 14 years. Despite undergoing multiple procedures, including a TESE (testicular sperm extraction) on August 27, 2023, no sperm were found. At the time, the patient’s hormone levels showed an FSH of 4 mIU/ml and an LH of 3.19 mIU/ml.

Determined to explore alternative options, the patient began a six-month course of Prolistem treatment. Following the treatment, a remarkable improvement was observed: motile sperm were identified in the patient’s semen for the first time in over a decade. These sperm were successfully frozen for future use in fertility treatments, offering hope for starting a family.

This success highlights the potential of Prolistem in addressing long-standing azoospermia, even in challenging cases where conventional methods have previously failed.
